The Great Ghost Stake Out #1 Part II

Read The Great Ghost Stake Out ~ Part I

• The Pharmacy: We then made the hike across the dark alley and into the back end of the pharmacy. Again, I went upstairs first with a camera following to record any evidence. I was glad to be greeting my old friend upstairs. He is as happy as always and just comes back there to visit because it’s where he’s happiest. And yet, still timid. We explained to him why we there and what events would be unfolding while we were there. When we came back downstairs we found the group standing in a circle timing patterns of each EMF detector spiking. After a long while of collecting this data, we determined that the EMF spikes in the building were actually a cycle of energy surging through the air. It’s exciting to gather paranormal evidence, but I think it’s just as exciting to find a legitimate scientific source of activity. Here’s a little of the audio of Carrie explaining to the group about ionic winds and how the detectors as well as your own body will respond to them.

• The Wrap Up: After each group member had been upstairs at least once or twice and been able to take readings and/or participate in an EVP session, we decided to head back to gather up our gear, pack up and call it a night. We have a ton of evidence to review. I’ll make sure to let you know our findings, if any. I personally don’t need the evidence to be sure that this is an active location, but every little piece of proof can only help us find the truth.

Before I left for the evening, I stopped to talk with a friend who participated in the hunt (it was her first ever). We were all sure she would be terrified the whole time and joked that we were bringing her Poise Pads just in case. Turns out she was calm and collected the majority of the time! Here’s what she had to say about the night:

Overall, it was a successful evening. Everyone had fun and learned a little along the way. If you’re interested in joining us for either of the next two Stake Outs this month, please visit SpiritsOfLaGrange.com for reservation details.
